Cocoa

The cocoa bean or simply cocoa, which is also called the cacao bean or cacao, is the dried and fully fermented seed of Theobroma cacao, from which cocoa solids (a mixture of nonfat substances) and cocoa butter (the fat) can be extracted.
Its height as well as the leaf area, branches and canopy spread depending to a great extent, on the available space when grown from seed, cocoa tree (cacao) is fully developed at about the age of ten years. If the plant is well maintained, it will continue to profitable for more than 30 years.
The fruit, called a cacao pod, is ovoid, 15-30 cm long and 8-10 cm wide, ripening yellow to orange, and weighs about 500g when it's ripe.
